Fish Report for 8-27-2006
We started our trip here today at Guadalupe for a decent scratch on quality tuna that produced 38 fish, most of which were 50-65lbs with one at 120. We also had a handful of nice yellows and one stray wahoo to round out the day. We are going to spend the night and give this at least one more day.

With the arrival of a big south swell from hurricane Ileana came a significant change at the south end of Guadalupe that we have experienced many times in the past. The end result was a marked slow down in the fishing that has been red hot during the past week. Not that the fishing took a complete nose dive; it didn't, but it was much more difficult to establish any kind of a consistent bite on all the different spots...... Read More
