Well we're right back to where started today with our high hopes crushed by another day of very slow action in challenging, sloppy conditions. Conditions definitely made a significant change with the current switching and water temperature rising by almost a full degree so we will see if it makes a difference tomorrow. Once again we know there is a good body of big fish hanging around the bank, it is just a matter of achieving the right conditions that make the fish move up on the shallows and start biting. At the very least, we put enough fish aboard yesterday, including one at two ten and a couple of other missed opportunities on good ones, to maintain interest and keep us in the game. With our time out here beginning to wind down however, we would all relish one more decent shot at the big fish to end our angling phase of the voyage on a good note.

Still a dismal showing here on our second day of fishing with only few handfuls of wahoo and a couple of worthy yellowfin to show for our effort. Very good fishing conditions, a fair amount of fish jumping around the bank, and everything else in our control appears to be right, it is now simply a matter of biding our time waiting for the tuna to get with the program.
