Royal Star Fish Report

4-20-2006
Royal Star

We are out and underway having spent our first full day traveling down while tending to small projects around the boat. We begin our voyage with a excellent load of mixed sardines and mackerel that are all perfect sized hook bait. We have one more full day to travel before arriving in Cabo San Lucas to pick our lucky fourteen anglers who will enjoy Royal Star in "ultra limited load" comfort for the next twelve days. As most of you know we changed this voyage, originally scheduled as a Clipperton adventure, due to the incredible big fish action at Hurricane bank this season and a gut feeling that Clipperton was due to disappoint. Judging by Frank's reports from Clipperton, and the fact that he ran up to Hurricane bank to finish the trip, it appears that the change was prudent. We now look forward to getting the trip started heading out to Hurricane Bank while looking along the way. Look for official fishing reports to begin on Sunday the 23rd.
