We?re having a productive maintenance period giving attention to the numerous mechanical necessities that arise during the normal course of operation as well as tending to a few cosmetic details that were begging for attention. Most noticeable to anglers will be the below deck showers that underwent a complete renovation with new surfacing, doors, and fixtures that give not only the showers, but the entire heads a refreshing, clean look. Most of our other projects are mechanical with the biggest challenge being the removal of fiberglass and foam insulation in our wells (fish holds) to survey the metal behind following twenty years of heavy duty service. I am pleased to report that following this project we can report that everything was in perfect condition in the tanks and the wells now sport a smooth new finish that will further improve the cosmetic appearance of the RSW product.

On the fishing front I do still have plenty of photos and will keep posting from the collection every few days or when I think of something to report. Randy and I are scheduled as the guests on Let?s Talk Hookup tomorrow morning (Saturday, March 25th) so give us a call or at the very least try to catch the show. Finally, I want to inform everyone that we do have space available on our upcoming ?spring break? eight day that will be targeting yellowtail and yellowfin tuna at Alijos rocks in addition to prospecting offshore for the elusive bluefin tuna. Also, our Hurricane bank twelve day fly down/fly back departing from Cabo San Lucas on April 22nd still has a few spots for those of you want to target wahoo and giant yellowfin tuna. I want to add that I am particularly looking forward to targeting giant yellowfin around the Revillagigedo islands that are frequently associating with dolphins outside the six mile closed zone. On our previous tagging voyage we not only witnessed, but experienced several stops in these zones that enlightened us as to the potential they offer. In other words, if ?the bank? is not productive, I feel we have a viable alternative that holds great potential.
