Royal Star Fish Report

2-9-2006
Royal Star

Well the boys finished up last night with a total of at least fifty two over two hundred as part of another beautiful full load of giant yellowfin from hurricane bank. I could certainly go on and on about the incredible fishing, incredible quality, and incredible sign of giant yellowfin at the bank, but this time I choose to announce a significant change in our schedule that will highlight our sentiments on what we are presently seeing.

As of yesterday, we are officially changing our Clipperton 2006 fourteen day adventure to a twelve day fly/down fly/back voyage departing from and returning to Cabo San Lucas. We are making this change based on recent history and present signs of giant yellowfin at Hurricane bank hoping to take full advantage of this historic run of big fish. In short, we couldn?t stand the thought of driving by the most incredible sign of giant yellowfin our fleet has ever experienced ignoring the spectacular potential the ?bank? continues to offer. We do have five spaces available on this voyage for any interested anglers. If you are interested, I urge you to call or e-mail us at your earliest opportunity as this voyage, with space for only eighteen anglers, is bound to fill quickly. The voyage details are as follows. If you have any other questions please call, Tracy, Tim, or Randy at our office (619) 224?4764.

In fact, by Randy?s account the indications of tuna around the bank are very poor or non-existent in the daytime. Again this is not uncommon at tropical destinations such as Hurricane bank, Clipperton, or the Revillagigedo islands, and if nothing else, bodes very...... Read More

As Captain Toussaint experiences trouble with the satellite uplink at sea, I have been summoned to keep you all informed as to the progress of the present seventeen day voyage on Royal Star. After speaking with Randy about one hour ago, I continue to be amazed by the action on giant yellowfin that persists, and persists, and persists. The boys arrived at Hurricane bank on the morning of the February 1st as vessel number three, sitting on the outskirts with...... Read More
