Fish Report for 9-27-2005
It finally came down to the wire with our last five day voyage of the season departing yesterday amidst reports of dismal results in the optimum five day haunts. We have held out on the long haul runs to the lower banks opting for fishing time and fine catches of quality yellowtail with a smattering of Guadalupe trophy yellowfin but this time is different. It appears that the long option is the only productive move to make so off we headed for southern glory putting the blinders on as we make our way down the coast. Now it all boils down to the big day tomorrow and needless to say Captain "Lucky" Toussaint and I have our hopes set on nothing other than glory. Reports from the lower zone indicate good signs are present so time and travel will tell tomorrow.
