Fish Report for 7-12-2004
The first day did not exactly turn out as we hoped but was far from a total bust and well worth the effort. At the very least we got to shake the kinks out in preparation for what we hope will be better fishing down the road. We definitely saw improved signs in the albacore zone as the day progressed and although they were scattered out and for the most part reluctant to bite, we are encouraged by the indications we saw late in the day. Not encouraged enough to stay however and we headed down the line at dark with plans to target yellowtail on the coast tomorrow before considering further options.

We are going to finish the trip here tomorrow in hopes of another shot at the bft....... Read More
