After speaking with Randy today, all is proceeding well on the ride down with the guys crossing the Guatemalan border this morning continuing southeastward toward our ultimate destination. We are busy sewing up a few loose ends before heading down ourselves and will commence with our daily reports upon the Royal Star?s arrival in Panama on the morning of the 14th.

I wanted to send in another photo of one of our grand changes in the cosmetic appearance of Royal Star but I am afraid this photo barely does the project credit. We demolished and completely rebuilt both top deck heads creating a first class atmosphere with premium quality materials and journeyman craftsmanship completed by the famous Russo brothers whose skill in such projects is rarely matched. Those of you who have joined us on prior Royal Star voyages will be amazed by the difference in space, appearance, and functionality. Both Randy and I certainly are and we beam with pride when reflecting on the necessity of this project. Here is a before and after shot of the one head adjacent the galley entrance.
