Royal Star

A classic case of "should have been here yesterday" as the hot zone fizzled to nothing and puke green water moved in. We covered some good ground regardless taking a mid day break for a few big Cubera'a before heading back to our bait spot to check on progress. The bait department was also a bust but nothing ventured nothing gained. We will have to be content fishing blackies, bullets, and anchoveta which proved a winning combination last trip. So now the pressure is on again and we have five full days remaining to find the mother lode. As I said yesterday, the fish are definitely here. It is simply a matter of finding conditions on the right day and being prepared to take full advantage of the opportunity when it does come. With a little luck a plenty of effort we hope our day will arrive soon.
