Fish Report for 5-2-2004
A nice start to the trip here today at Alijos with steady scratching on quality yellows and enough tuna to keep it interesting. With the exception of one around 90lbs, most of the tuna were 30-50lbers with the yellows averaging 18-30lbs. With beautiful weather and plenty of time, we're going to stick it out here at the rocks and hope this tuna bite develops as we put together a catch on this nice grade yellow.

5-1-2004We spent the day traveling down on our latest adventure, an eight day bound for Alijos Rocks where we hope the fishing has improved from the last reports. We will arrive first thing in the morning tomorrow and hope to be posting a good report by the afternoon. Greetings everyone here is a recap of our Clipperton results and a few other notes of interest for you. Fifteen over two hundred was the trip total with the largest at 275. The kicker is that I am certain we let a couple if not three others slip through the cracks believing they were less than two hundred before cleaning them and dropping them in the RSW tank.
