Stellar fishing on 20-35lb albacore as we worked down on the first day of our Mitch Otera eight day. It was a great chance to get everyone working together and hone their deck skills, which will hopefully come in handy later in the trip on bigger fish. We are sliding further down tonight and plan on looking for bft tomorrow.

Well we had some rugged weather and a slight phone mishap that prevented our reports from coming through the past three days. In summary our last seven day voyage was far from a bust but the action was really limited to one fantastic night bite on quality yellowtail that was followed the next day by a fair hit on the kites on fifty to seventy pound yellowfin with a couple of one hundred twenty to thirty pound beauties mixed in....... Suffice to say that following the third fishless day of our seven day voyage that things were getting a little tight and even a few bottom lips were beginning to tremble.
