"We had a great day of fishing," said Red Rooster III skipper Andy Cates in his report for August 22, "that started first thing in the morning and lasted until lunch. Great grade of Yellows 18 to 28-pound fish. Very steady fishing all morning.

"We moved up the ridge and finished off in the evening with a slow pick and a few flurries. Tomorrow we are offshore looking for kelps in warm water. It will be interesting to see what we find."
