"We ended up with 47 Tuna and 10 Wahoo today," reported Andy Cates aboard Red Rooster III January 24. "(We caught) eight over 200 pounds. Most of our fish caught were from 120 to 190 pounds. Very nice fishing, it was slow to start but really picked up throughout the rest of the day, very exciting! The weather was just fantastic, which worked to our benefit. Hopefully tomorrow will be just as successful."
