Royal Polaris Accurate 7 Day Trip returns with a nice catch of Yellowtail, Yellowfin & Bluefin

Frank LoPreste docked his Royal Polaris at Fisherman's Landing September 23 after a week-long Accurate trip with chartermaster Bob "Scrappy" Michener of Oxnard and 34 other anglers aboard. Offshore fishing was productive for the group, producing a good catch of yellowtail, yellowfin tuna some bluefin tuna and several other species.
Jerimiah Lechan of Monterey Park won first place for a 43.8-pound yellowfin. Kevin Sharp of Encinitas won second place for a 41-pound tuna, and Larry Watkins of West Covina took third place for a 39-pound yellowfin tuna.
