Long Range Fish Report

With our tuna fish knocked out we opted to fish the beach for the day targeting variety and try and top off on our yellowtail. Lots and of loose scattered fish around but very few concentrated areas of them made it a grind. That being said we had a nice day scratching away at them everywhere we went. Many of drifts later and an anchor job that lasted all the way til night fall contributed to another 60 yellows and one bonus big halibut! Of course we always want and could’ve had more but between the sea lions taking many opportunities away and our anglers just enjoying the day we never had the big hit we wanted. Tomorrow we will be heading back up the line with a RSW tank full of delicious fresh fish.
