A fine day of variety fishing ideal for unwinding following yesterday’s hectic afternoon action. Tons of beautiful grade yellowtail were abundant and at times easily available. It was a surface “pluggers” paradise. Twenty five pound class fish were spread out for miles chasing panicked sardines in epic displays that begged for a well placed cast. And cast we did. Between the long rods and all other methods that produced the day concluded with an appropriately modest score. Freighting a beautiful load of yellows and tuna in the RSW tanks already big volume was not on the priority list. Having a great time in a beautiful setting while fishing a relaxed pace certainly was. Calling it a success at day’s end we headed north looking to squeeze in at least a few quick drifts tomorrow before the final note is sung.
Today’s images feature a couple of fine line up’s perfectly representing the catch currently on board. We are thankful for it. Blessed to be sure…
