Fish Report for 6-18-2026

After another long night of tuna fishing we opted to go kelping. Although most of the kelp has either vanish or been fished out there still has been a few opportunities to be had. Captain Jackson took the honors of putting us right into the zone finding our first kelp around 0900. A little bit of fish but non responsive.
To be expected we knew this was gonna be a grind to find the right one. Luckily for us we found a few nice kelps with a couple short windows to catch some fun grade yellowtail. Yes we had to do a little bit of shagging on the lemon bass but we managed to tag 18 5-25 pound beauties. Please enjoy today’s photo of a couple of the standouts landed this afternoon. We will be arriving at fisherman’s landing at 0630 and departed again this time being a 5 day adventure.
