Fun fishing to start off our 11 day voyage. Fun plunker action fishing on fish ranging anywhere from 18-120 pounds. Knowing that this is a longer trip we played a game of catch and release with the 18-25 pound fish and waited for the bigger fish to swim through.

On top of the plunker style fishing there was also some action on the kite. I think we can all agree that watching fish blow out on the kite is one of the most satisfying things you could ever watch. As far as the final Talley goes we ended up tagging 23 fish all ranging 40-75 pounds and a singular 90 pounder

Tonight we will be targeting squid to fish both on the kite and fly line rigs. We’ll check back in tomorrow!
