Fish Report for 9-2-2025

No trail of tears today just plenty of yankin' and crankin' from the time of arrival through departure. Plenty of "sorting", customary on the ridge, kept anglers and the boys plenty occupied from morning through afternoon. While some larger models were infused in the action early the switch turned on late and they took charge. Fine late afternoon and evening fishing for 25-70 pound yellowfin rounded out the day in welcome fashion. Another swing at them tomorrow would have been nice but northward motion was the call at days end. That developing tropical cyclone below provided all the motivation needed. The search for gamesters and variety continues along the coast and near offshore. Photo today features long range friend and legend George Alfaro who is on fire through present catching everything in his path. This 100 pound class beauty chose to tangle with the master at Alijos yesterday and came out on the losing end of the battle.
If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
