Hi Gang,

We departed on our annual JRI sponsored 7 day trip on Saturday morning with a good load of bait and good weather. After a beautiful prime rib dinner prepared by our master chef Brian Torres, we were ready to fish bluefin. We didn't see much in the way of fish until about midnight and then we put togeher a few good stops on mostly 20 to 40# bluefin. By 0215 we had our daily limits and we started south to fish for yellows the rest of our trip. Yesterday was a travel day and most everyone slept after a night of bluefin fishing. We are currently looking for kelps in nice weather in hopes of finding offshore yellowtail. We will be on the Ridge at first light tomorrow, Thanks for checking in.
