Fish Report for 1-17-2015

We fished "Clipperton style" this morning in torrential downpours where it was like someone was dumping 5 gallon buckets of water on our heads as those with no slicker bottoms had their boots overflowing within minutes. Fishing was good as there was a time period where bites were really fast and one didn't know whether it would be a 40 lber or a 200 lber. We ended up with a couple handfuls of 100-185 lb fish and lots of 30-80 lb fish out of our morning deal which was accentuated by a couple of low twos caught by Dom Reale and Ed Flocken. Late morning the rain left us and the last remains of the storm that we have been dealing with was finally gone as we scratched away at the fish until we left in the afternoon while finally enjoying beautiful weather.
