Awakening

American Angler

Upon awakening this morning we found out that the weather man was wrong and the wind was up and we knew then that we had our work cut out for us. We had good lighting on our side and didn't let these windy conditions discourage us. We immediately put the binoculars to work and by late afternoon and after covering over twenty miles of good water, we were able to string four great kelps together.
At times the gang had the opportunity to enjoy some on-the-corner style fishing on yellowfin tuna and dorado. Finding ourselves at the bottom end of things by the end of the day - we plan to spend the night and keep our fingers crossed for hopefully another awesome day.
Today's photo is husband/wife team Ben and Aivan Szu showing off one of these good grade dorado.

Dreaming of good weather,

The Guys

Today was another one of those lucky days where it all came together as we enjoyed great weather and steady fishing. Morris Beliakoff and Ray give us an example of the better grade fish and John Samarin shows his...... Read More
