An early afternoon departure gave us some fishing time today upon the local banks. Al day tomorrow will be dedicated to fishing kelps and spots of albacore on this 1 1/2 day trip. Young Jason Lind connected with a kelp paddy yellowtail. A sardine fished with 25# Blackwater fluorocarbon was his recipe for success. The Blackwater 20# leader has been the hot ticket for albacore this week, although tomorrow we hope they bite nails!
