Royal Polaris Fishing Report

Royal Polaris Crew

Hello everyone;

We arrived to Alijos rocks around 11:15 hours, and it didn’t take long for us to get busy. The Wahoo bite was tough, but we did manage to put a few in the hole. Top Wahoo angler today was Rich Couser, with 3 Wahoo for his efforts.

Weather today was 12 to 15 knots of wind, very little seas, and slightly overcast.

Other than Wahoo today, we caught Yellowfin tuna (20 to 25 pounds), Flag Cabrilla, Yellowtail (14 to 30 pounds), and a few more Calico Bass.

We departed at dark, and we will be looking for kelps on our way moving north. Our next destination will “Guadeloupe island. We will arrive on Thursday morning. We are hoping for some excellent Yellowfin and Yellowtail fishing.

For dinner tonight Cory and Kyle papered an excellent short rib dinner, with white rice, and Broccoli.

So until tomorrow, wish us luck, team R/p.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 226-8092 to get in on the action.

After lunch, when things slowed down, some played cards, while others just relaxed, watched a movie or...... Read More
