Well we rolled right in and got down to business here making good on the couple of hours of remaining daylight that we had to work with - then came the night. Through morning production was simply a matter of desire and horsepower; how many one wanted, and how much one wanted to pull. Big yellowtail, twenty five to forty five pounder's were the quarry, and they did not disappoint. Between those and the fine start on 80 – 100 pound yellowfin tuna I'd say we have a sturdy foundation here. Plenty of time, good conditions, perfect bait, etc. We are fortunate, very fortunate here. Not by chance, not by coincidence, but extremely fortunate nevertheless. Less incentive to seek greener pastures we are settling in and enjoying the ride. There is ample ground here to cover and we have barely scratched the surface. Fishing marches on.
