"Hi all," wrote Red Rooster III captain Andy Cates November 28. "Yesterday we ended up with 78 tuna ranging from 75 to 140 pounds. We had fish up to 190 pounds. The big fish of the day were caught by Allan Lemberg, at 220 pounds, and Bob Michener, whose fish weighed 256 pounds. Very good action all afternoon all the way until dark!

"Today so far we have about 22 tuna, one of them being right at 200 pounds, including eight to 10 tuna ranging from about 120 to 150 pounds. So far this morning it has been a tiny bit slower then yesterday, but we are picking a few nice fish! With beautiful weather, all in all we are having a great time! We will report again soon."

On November 29, this added report came in: "Yesterday we caught a total of 68 fish ranging from 100 to 130 pounds, with some near 180 to 200 pounds. Charlie Tanaka caught one at 210 pounds: really nice day of fishing! Today not much action just yet this morning: two fish at 200 pounds. Scott had one at 210 pounds and Allen got one at 206 pounds. Ben caught one on the kite at 196 pounds."
