Red Rooster III boards over 50 tuna

"Today so far we have caught about 50 tuna," reported Red Rooster III skipper Andy Cates November 27, "the biggest being about 190lbs! Great action all day since this morning! The size of fish have all been from about 75 to 130 pounds! The email is down, so I will call the Red Rooster III office and give daily updates. We will report again tomorrow."

An update arrived at 9:30 a.m. November 28: "Yesterday we ended up with 78 tuna ranging from 75 to 140 pounds. We had fish up to 190 pounds. The two big fish caught for the day were Allan Lemberg's at 220 pounds, and Bob Michener's at 256 pounds. Very good action all afternoon all the way till dark!

"Today so far we have about 22 tuna, one of them being right at 200 pounds. We had eight to 10 tuna ranging from about 120 to 150 pounds. So far this morning it has been a tiny bit slower then yesterday, but we are picking a few nice fish. Beautiful weather, all in all we are having a great time!"
