"We finished up our stay down here with a decent bite this morning," said the report from Intrepid October 18, "and put 18 more nice Tuna in the hold before calling it quits. Gerald Yoshida got things rolling early in the dark with a Kamikaze Yellowfin that ate a sardine and charged the boat, ripped across the stern and was gaffed in less than 3 minutes! Big fish of the morning went to James Beecher with a 260-pounder and hot stick of the trip Chris Minnick boated yet another big Tuna to cap off a great trip for him. The sharks were there, and we just had to battle through them to get a Tuna, but it was a nice way to end it. We are now traveling North towards home in nice weather and will pick up some much needed R & R."
