Building on the success found late yesterday we jumped in the saddle early after a peaceful night at anchor. Finding the right zone 07:00 we hit small spots of 30-50# fish adding on and adding on one to a few fish each time. A protracted mid morning lull was no cause for concern as the signs of life were absolutely stunning, incredible. "Blue Planet" scenes ultimately led to an afternoon of top water action epic in every category. Adrenaline charging blowouts on every jig and jerk bait that hit the spot compressed the afternoon into what felt like a blink of an eye. When it finally ground to a halt none were feeling wanton or left out. Everyone got in on all of the action and fun. Calling it a complete success we headed back in to enjoy a night of peaceful anchorage in preparation for our final day of variety fishing in the southern zones. Today's image features Royal Star friend and angler Steve Grove with a beauty hoisted by Royal Star crewman Matt Yanick and the legendary Captain Roy Rose.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
