Yesterday's run set up today's zone that ultimately produced the results sought. Beautiful conditions, that included a hefty south swell courtesy of Hurricane Genevieve far below, were ideal for finding the right line. It took some time, all morning and then some, but by mid afternoon we were in the game boating the fantastic grade yellowfin we were looking for. Run and gun style was the theme. Short windows of opportunity where anglers on their "A" game with the baits and/or colt snipers ultimately added up to a fine score. Satisfied with the day's results and now located we shut down for the night ready to resume fishing and catching less a long search interval. That said we never take anything for granted on the deep blue. Tomorrow is a new venture to be sure.
Today's images first feature Royal Star young lady angler Emma Kurata with a fine example of the average grade yellowfin found today and first time Royal Star angler Jay Minn with a dandy landed from an evening spot.
