Dear Southern California Hunter,

We are very pleased to announce that the High Desert Hunt Club at Tejon Ranch will be opening on October 20th for the fall 2012 through spring 2013 season.

As many of you know, Tejon Ranch took over ownership and operations of the High Desert Hunt Club (HDHC) in 2008, but not until recently have efforts been made to fully incorporate HDHC into the overall Wildlife Management Department of Tejon Ranch. The management of HDHC remains the same but with a new commitment to make the HDHC, already California's premier upland bird club, even better.

A few key points pertaining to the 2012-2013 season are below:

? The price of a membership for this season is $1,500 per individual and corporate packages are available (contact HDHC for details).
? HDHC Members get preference to reserve a spring access package on Tejon Ranch for a reduced rate.
? We strive to keep our bird prices as competitive as possible.
? Every hunter on Tejon Ranch, including the HDHC, will need to purchase an insurance policy through Bob Boggs Insurance for $18 which covers from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013 (detailed instructions provided at registration).
? Lastly, we are working on a new and improved hunter management system through www.hunttejon.com which now houses the High Desert Hunt Club at Tejon Ranch website. We ask that all members visit this site and register. This system will enable us to effectively manage our hunters and guests, allowing us the pleasure of keeping all members current on news and operations of the Wildlife Management Department at Tejon Ranch.

Again, we want to thank past members for their support of the HDHC, welcome new members and above all we want to emphasize our commitment to making the High Desert Hunt Club at Tejon Ranch a safe and fun venue for our members to hunt and enjoy.

To apply for membership or for any questions, please contact Peg George at HDHC, (661) 724-1218 or [email protected] and visit www.hunttejon.com for more information about the Tejon Ranch Wildlife Management Department.
