Fish Report for 2-8-2018
We are currently traveling North in nice weather. As of this morning, we are back online with WiFi. Our trip was an overall success with mid grade fish around the 100# mark on tap most of the trip and it seemed as though we would get an opportunity on at least one or two cows everyday. The anglers that had the most bites are the ones that put in their time at the rail, were good at finesse fishing a sardine, fished fluorocarbon during the day, and changed technique according to conditions. Most of our fish this trip were landed using either SoftSteel Ultra or Soft Steel fluorocarbon. Greg Valdez, Al Murray, Paul Lepore, and Tony Garza are the anglers that landed the largest cows this trip with the largest taping out at 250#'s. We didn't see much wahoo this trip but we did have one afternoon for over 25 fish after finding a little school of them which is always fun and exciting. Our last 2 days of fishing were our most interesting as we found a new area of fish that responded well and gave us shots at big ones both days. The group of anglers on this trip were a joy to fish with and everyone worked well together at the rail. The food this trip was nothing short of spectacular as our chef, Kyle Johansen, knocked it out of the park on every meal. Our crew is solid. Tyler Tubbs, Art Hill, Travis Weber, Jack Wroncy, and Camereron Bingham all do great work. Our new galley assistant Chasen Keller is a fine addition.
