Searcher drifts until dark on the same Bluefin school

"We drifted until dark with the same school of bluefin tuna," reported Searcher October 13. "What a phenomenal day of fishing. The quality of the fish, the great weather, and people and the atmosphere with only 14 passengers is awesome. There is so much room on the boat you wonder where everyone is and then you realize are all at the rail. We landed a daily limit of bluefin tuna and we have decided to stay another day and hope we can get lucky and find another school."

On October 14, the boat posted: "We decided to stay in the bluefin area another day. It was hard to leave the area and not have another chance at those quality fish. Unfortunately it was a different day today. There were a few fish seen and caught, but nothing like yesterday. Those darn bluefin can be very frustrating at times. We are headed south to try for some yellowfin tuna tomorrow. The weather forecast looks good and the reports are good from other boats in the area."
