Fall fishing has been great for the San Diego fleet

Fall fishing is holding up in a wonderful way for anglers fishing aboard sportboats on day and day and a half trips. Fisherman's landing reported "177 yellowfin tuna, 225 yellowtail, 43 dorado and 12 bluefin tuna" for two boats running day and a half trips October 4. Pt. Loma Sportfishing had a good yellowtail catch at day and a half, "nine yellowtail and two bluefin for the ?? day boat." H&M Landing reported "...371 Yellowtail, 2 Bluefin Tuna, 123 Yellowfin Tuna, 102 Dorado for three day and a half boats and 108 Yellowtail, 37 Bluefin Tuna, 27 Dorado," for the dayboat. Eleven boats fishing from Seaforth yesterday caught a great variety for the anglers, "four Red Rock Crab, 12 California Spiny Lobster, 579 Yellowtail, 89 Yellowfin Tuna, 105 Dorado, 120 Bluefin Tuna, 15 Whitefish, 8 Vermilion Rockfish, 3 Sheephead, 104 Rockfish, 12 Skipjack Tuna, 3 Calico Bass, 25 Barracuda, one Halibut, three Sculpin."

They most important point of this information is, If you thought fishing was over for this season, it isn't!"
