At 65 miles the Searcher lands 12 Bluefin at their 1st stop

"Timing is everything," said Searcher's report July 18. "Unfortunately, we are out here after several days of calm offshore weather. Now the wind and swells are up in that zone. However, there is some good fishing closer to home where the weather is better. We put the brakes on at 65 miles so we would have a chance to fish. We have 12 bluefin tuna aboard and half of those fish are 30-50 pounds. We plan to stay in this zone all day and put together a catch."
