Shogun finds a school of Tuna

Art Taylor

"Today another boat from our fleet (Shogun) found some bluefin and yellowfin tuna at 170 miles from San Diego," wrote Art Taylor, owner-skipper of the Searcher. "The bluefin were 40 to 100 pounds and the yellowfin were 15 to 25 pounds. There was a single dorado in the count as well. There are other boats in the same zone today, so stay tuned! Our first trip is a 5-day from June 25 to 30 and there are a few spots left if you'd like to be part of the start to the tuna and yellowtail season."
