Shogun Sportfishing Trip Update (110612)

LOADING UP (110612)!!! Hello Everyone, We had some fantastic yellowfin and dorado fishing today. All morning long we kept our rods bent and our lines tight as the mahi and y.f.t. came pouring over the rail. The tuna were a bit of a mixed grade today with fish going anywhere from 10-30lbs and the mahi were all quality 15-35lbers. After we had our fill of those, we put the wahoo jigs out and by the end of the day we were able to scratch up 13 nice wahoo to 40lbs. Weather today started off a bit choppy with a 12 knot breeze and a smoking uphill current, but as the day progressed the wind and current both diminished and the sea conditions drastically improved. Tonight we plan to make a short move and try for a few bigger tuna in the morning. Wish us luck. Shogun Crew P.S. Dave Kretchman says hi to his family. Having a great time, see you soon!
