"What a super day we had here on the Intrepid October 25," said the report. "It started out right at daylight with Mark Shimozaki hooking into and landing a 252-pound Yellow fin, then Steve Able hooked up and landed his first Cow Tuna coming in at 210, which he backed up later in the day with a second Cow at 220 pounds. A little later Josh Dinkle landed a 270-pounder, Dennis Pagent got a Tuna right at 200, Stan Vanderburg and Greg Stump with twin fish just under the 200-pound mark that might just make it when we weigh them up at the landing . But the highlight today was Mark Shimozaki when he landed a 314-pound super cow! What a day for Mark."

Three days later, Intrepid's report said, "Wahoo were the theme for us today as we found an area holding some skin and chose to work it over well and get what we could. So we kept on trucking and had some fun catching Wahoo and several of our passengers caught their first-ever skin today! There were many school-sized Yellowfin in that zone in the 10 to 18-pound range, and to our delight the sportsmen released 90% of them to grow and fight another day. We are now headed north and plan to do some Yellowtail fishing tomorrow."
