Searcher has a great stop and lands 76 Yellowfin

Bill Roecker

"Hello anglers," said the Searcher's report for August 11, "Our mid day report from a great stop on yellowfin tuna. They were really biting for a while. We landed 76 yellowfin. The count doesn't represent the fishing since we have a lot of beginners there were some first stop jitters to get rid of and lots of tangles but remarkably enough the group did really well. The weather is tremendous, with flat seas, no wind, sunny skies. It just doesn't get any better than this. Great weather and good fishing along with nice people--you couldn't ask for anything more."
The salutation from Searcher August 12: "It's a different day today. We have seen fish that wouldn't bite and caught a few: 13 tuna so far, with plenty of time left. The picture of the day is Capt. Cole with Suzanne Painter from Colorado with a 45-pound yellowfin caught on the troll. More later..."
