"Yesterday was spent traveling northbound searching through the wind and whitecaps with only a handful of School size Yellowfin and lots of smaller Yellowtails (released) to show for our efforts," said the report from Intrepid June15. "We searched throughout the night for the body of bait and fish that would be our day today and the all night effort from this crew paid off. We got onto a school of Bluefin first thing this morning and picked off an even dozen from that first stop. The second stop today would produce daily limits of Bluefin Tuna out of an all out Ripper bite! It was one of those in the corner, full speed Bluefin charges we all look for and love when it happens. The hot bite then settled into a nice steady plunker for the next couple of hours on the 30lb class Bluefin.

Everyone is now enjoying a beautiful Lobster dinner served up by chef Patrick, not a bad way to spend our final day offshore on this first trip of the season for Team Intrepid. Tomorrow we will be doing some exploring in a different area up the line. The Intrepid Team If you want to get in on some of the quality fishing going on right now, we have a couple of spots left on our next 8 day adventure departing Saturday June 23rd. Give Carol a call at 1-877-866-7827. See you on the water!"
