Report in from the boat at 6pm this evening. Jeff said after he had turned in his fish report the yellowtail bite was still going strong, the Anglers managed to produce a good grade averaging 18-30#. This morning they had a decent day of tuna. Lots of fun and action continuing until about noon then bite was off. Today's total was 53 tuna, ranging from 30-60 pounds. A couple topped out at 70-80#. The conditions were not too good, current was not in their favor so Jeff decided to move the boat. After they anchored another handful of yellowtail was brought on board. All in all there was good fishing today. The weather is still gorgeous however. After a delectable dinner made by Garrett and Rollo, homemade Key Lime pie with graham cracker crust and meringue topping is for desert. We plan to hit this area again tomorrow so check in for more reports after nightfall. Captain Jeff and the Indy Boys

What had a great day - we woke up and had a little bit of current, and after adjusting current-wise by the book, the tuna were right where they were supposed to be. We had 2-5 fish going at all times on 30-60lb tuna for the better part of the morning. When it was all done, the final count was 55 tuna. By lunchtime it was over and so we spent the rest of the day trying misc. spots and catching...... Read More
