"With all the scratch fishing and tough weather that we've been having," said the report from American Angler August 29, "we knew sooner or later that there would be payback. We had steady fishing all morning with one to six fish hooked at all times, never enduring a moment with no hook ups.

After the life went away around lunchtime, we went on a three-hour hunt around the yellowtail zone and it paid off with some good biting fish in the afternoon. There is no need to say more about the flat weather and good fishing as those of you at home are probably already green with envy. Yesterday's hot dog was veteran angler Big Daddy Bill Shubin with four big bluefin out of the last stop and today's hot stick was first timer Morris Beliakoff's son-in-law, Kevin Uraine, as he quickly mastered the art of yo-yoing a jig.

"We have room on a 1.5 day departing Sun 9/18 and a 2.5 day departing 9/20 - call the office at (619) 223-5414."
