Captain Bill Cavanaugh of the Intrepid out of Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, CA called in to us today.

Checking in with an afternoon report. We are on our last day of our three day trip. We are on search of this bigger Bluefin that has been missing here for a little while here today. Its been good here but we are only hooking them on fly-lined baits. But we haven’t been able to land any of them yet. These are nice ones 100 plus pounds, they are measuring heavy. We are encouraged, a decent school for the last three hours. Pretty exciting, hopefully we land some of them here. We have caught some Yellowtail here today.

Good things to come down here this way in the near future. Good fish under the boat and hoping to hook a couple of them.
