By the numbers here sitting tight all day scratching steady at beautiful grade, Guadalupe Yellowfin tuna. The 60 - 90 pound average made great sport of it as the gauntlet was set and continuously beckoning. In the end we won, by a large margin, due to the collective efforts of anglers and crewmen whom have learned what it takes in this scenario to get the job done.

Primed and ready for another go at them tomorrow we’ll see what the day brings. Optimism is strong based on the sign around us and the island in general. Truth be told it really looks good here; for this voyage and many beyond. But that observation was made yesterday. Change for the better or worse can manifest at any moment. We’ll take, and make of it, as it comes.

Photo today features Royal Star angler Anthony Koregelos and his 95 pound class Guadalupe Yellowfin Tuna.
