On our way on the first of what we hope will be many future Royal Star 4 day voyages originating in the beautiful city of Mazatlan, Mexico. Excellent weather graces our departure as we head to the grounds that appear to be close by based on our best sources. Tomorrow morning our fishing begins and will continue through Monday evening. Full reports and photos of our exploits will now commence. It is now up to our best efforts and the grace of the fish gods to which we pray mightily.

On another note I want to extend my most sincere personal thank you to the new Commissioner of Fisheries of Mexico (CONAPESCA), Sr. Raul de Jesus Elenes who shared his valuable time yesterday with SAC President Ken Franke and I. We had a unique opportunity to share ideas in support of continued cooperation and economic development in the sport fishing communities of Mexico. I also want to thank new Director of Projects Sr. Bernardino Munoz and Juan Carlos Perdomo for their time and contributions to this meeting. It is with great respect I extend my most sincere thanks for the opportunity to contribute.
