Hi Gang,

Hoping everyone is enjoying this Holiday Season. Yesterday was our first fishing day of our after Christmas 3 day trip. We fished the coast all day and it was very productive. We had periods of good yellowtail fishing with most of the fish in the 14 to 20 pound class. The best technique for yellows seemed to the yo yo jig but we did catch a fair amount of fish on the flylined sardine as well. To go with our good yellowtail fishing, we also caught reds, lingcod, calico bass, sand bass, whitefish, sheephead, bonito, one balck sea bass, and one halibut. It was a day full of action and everyone had a blast. One of our highlights today was getting to watch Emmory Mostellar cacth his first ever yellowtail. Good job Emmory! Our weather was good all day with not much wind and very little sea. Our chef Brian Torres followed up the previous nights prime rib dinner with an incrdible chicken dinner that was out of bounds good. We have high hopes for tomorrow, wish us luck. Thanks for checking in, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4088 to get in on the action.

We returned this morning from our 1.5 day trip and we had extremely tough fishing. Although we did see sign of Bluefin Tuna, they just did not want to cooperate. We were fortunate enough to have beautiful weather and amazing food but there was one little detail missing. We will be at it again next Sunday for our 3 day trip. We will check in later.
