Hi Gang,

Yesterday was a very enjoyable day here on the Intrepid. After an amazing breakfast of eggs benedict, we had a tackle seminar covering basic tuna fishing for bigger fish. We covered the gear, line, hooks, drag settings, setting the hook method, and fighting techniques. Shortly after our seminar we arrived at Alijos Rocks to try for wahoo. Our weather was perfect, and we picked up enough wahoo for a couple of meals later in the trip. AJ Masters caught his first wahoo ever today. Strong work AJ! The rest of the day was spent rigging gear and relaxing. Chef Brian's dinner of braised short rib over goat cheese polenta was out of bounds. Life is good. Thanks for checking in, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4088 to get in on the action.
