Happy Hour

Change arrived on the hot yellowtail grounds in the wrong way - for us that is. Challenging conditions and lack of fish added up to far less that our sights were set on. Thank goodness we picked some along the way; enough to at least justify the effort. And we mixed in some very cool scenery and variety action that added up to a worthy day on the water overall. We’ll take it. The off days are built in. It’s what one does in those times that makes or breaks the day and/or trip.

In that respect these anglers make up for any lack of action at the rail with plenty of fun. Day’s end found us tucked in tight behind a blessed point enjoying flat calm conditions and a worthy happy hour. A few more quality yellowtail and a handful of seabass followed party time ending the day of the right note. Photo today is the last from tuna time featuring Royal Star veteran Art Holcomb and his fine ridge quality yellowfin.

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4764 to get in on the action.
