Fish Report for 4-10-2018
A Productive Week
We have been very busy and very productive here in the Marine Group shipyard. Preperations have been in place for having our engine room ready for the new equipment. We received delivery of all four of our new engines early last week, we have re-designed some systems in our engine room space, and we just about have the engine room ready for sandblasting and paint. This has been a joint effort from a lot of people to make the vision of this project come together. Tom Dale, Woody Peebles, Trevor Perich, Dependable Marine, Marine Group Boat Works, San Diego Marine Exchange, Proline Paints, and the entire Intrepid Team have joined together to bring this vision to light. Everything is moving as planned. We will begin sandblasting and paint coatings next week. The new engines go in at the end of the month. Exciting times on the Intrepid. On another note, our early season trips are getting steady bookings. Our Channel Islands Fishing Club 3 day trip in May has 1 opening, an early June 1.5 day trip has 2 openings, and the other early season trips are filling up. If you want to join us for one of these trips, check out our book online page to view our schedule and you can book right on our site. Summer is right around the corner and it is shaping up to be a good early season bluefin year. We hope to see you onboard. Thanks for checking in, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team
The Intrepid runs long-range trips from Point Loma Sportfishing in San Diego, CA. If you would like to join us on a fishing trip please call Steve Hoffman at (619) 224-4088 or BOOK ONLINE.
