Hi Gang,

We awoke this morning to another beautiful sunrise and a calm ocean. Our weather forecast for the next 7 days has an average forecast of 10 knots or less. Our bait is doing well as our water temp rises. After breakfast we covered big bait tuna fishing and fishing the kite. Unlimited 130 lb. gear fishing with a  live skipjack for bait, a crimped 300 lb. leader and an 11/0 forged hook, count to 30 after the bite, let the line come tight, and lift up hard to set the hook. The rest of the day was spent finalizing our tackle in preparation for the fishing to come. We are making good speed and we should arrive to the Hurricane Bank sometime before 1000 tomorrow. Our chefs prepared an amazing dinner of thick cut pork chop on a bed of sticky rice with brussel sprouts. Life is good on the Intrepid, Captain Bill Cavanaugh and the Intrepid Team

If you would like to go fishing with us please BOOK ONLINE or call (619) 224-4088 to get in on the action.
